Garlic Festival and Steak Sandwiches
|Bell peppers||8 , seeded, sliced in quarters|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), minced|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Top sirloin steak||3⁄4 Pound, barbecued or broiled to desired degree of doneness|
|French rolls||8 , halved and basted with garlic butter|
|Garlic butter||1 Tablespoon (Store Bought)|
1.Take a skillet, add some oilive oil and saute the bell peppers in it.
2. Add in the garlic, onion, salt, and pepper in the olive oil so that they become tender.
3.Using a pastry brush, brush the rolls with garlic butter.
4. Place the rolls in the oven and heat so that the rolls are toasted slightly or just place them under the broiler or over the barbecue.
5.Make thin slices of the steak and place on the bottom half of roll.
6.Smear the other half of roll with pepper-garlic mixture.
7. Serve warm.
