Grilled Bacon and Egg Sandwiches
|Enriched bread slices||8|
|Soft butter/Margarine||1 1⁄8 Tablespoon|
1. Prepare the bread by spreading the bread with 1/2 teaspoon butter.
2. Preheat the toaster
3. Arrange sliced eggs on half the bread slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
4. Top with remaining bread slices, butter side down.
5. Place sandwiches in a long-handled, hinged wire broiler or toaster and top with 2 half slices of bacon, side by side. Brown both sides of sandwiches over hot coals, leaving the side with bacon until last,
6. Serve hot.
