|Sauerkraut||1 Cup (16 tbs), well drained|

1 Toast bread, and butter each piece on 1 side.
2 Split frankfurters in half lengthwise and place on buttered side of 6 slices toast.
3 Spread the dressing on frankfurters, and top each sandwich with about 2 tablespoons sauerkraut.
4 Top each with a slice of remaining bread, buttered side towards cheese.
5 Cook, rotating one-quarter turn halfway through cooking time: 45 to 60 seconds for 1 sandwich; 2 to 2 1/2 minutes for 3 sandwiches; and 3 to 4 minutes for 6 sandwiches.
6 Serve warm.
