JanetZap's picture
  Light mayonnaise 2 Tablespoon
  Low fat milk 1 Tablespoon
  Honey 1 Tablespoon
  Apple cider vinegar 1 Teaspoon
Shredded cole slaw mix 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Golden raisins 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Plump)
Mild italian chicken sausage/6 ounces cooked kielbasa sausage 3 , taken out of their casings, cut on a diagonal, into thin slices
  Jarlsberg lite cheese slices 4
  Rye bread slices 4
Butter alternative 1 Tablespoon (Like Earth Balance / Smart Balance)

In medium size bowl, mix together mayonnaise, milk, honey and vinegar; add cole slaw and raisins and gently toss. Set aside.
Cook sausage in medium to large skillet until done, about 10 minutes, breaking up into bite size pieces.
When done, assemble sandwich, first sausage pieces, then the cole slaw, and top with two slices each of Jarlsberg Lite cheese.
Finish with slice of bread.

Over medium low heat, melt spread in a non-stick skillet. Place sandwiches in skillet, reduce heat to low, place a heavy skillet on top of the sandwiches and brown on both sides. (Don't forget to butter the skillet again before cooking second side of sandwich).
