Barbecued Pork Sandwiches
|Barbecue sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sliced onion||1 Cup (16 tbs), separated into rings|
|Green bell pepper strips||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sesame sandwich buns||4 Ounce, split (2 Buns, 2 Ounce)|
|Sliced apricot glazed pork roast||4 Ounce|
1. Preheat oven to 400°.
2. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well, and set aside.
3. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and bell pepper; saute 6 minutes or until tender. Spread sauce mixture evenly over cut sides of buns. Divide onion mixture and pork evenly between bun bot toms; top with bun tops.
4. Wrap sandwiches tightly in foil; bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
