Open Faced Steak Sandwiches

Ingredients
  Lean flank steak 1⁄2 Pound
  Cooking spray 1 Tablespoon
  Sliced mushrooms 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Thinly sliced onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), separated into rings
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  No salt added beef broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Worcestershire sauce 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
  Dried thyme 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1 Dash
  Diagonally cut french bread slices 3⁄4 Ounce, toasted (4 Pieces)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Trim away the fat off the steaks and slice them diagonally into strips one-eighth if an inch in width

MAKING
2. Spray some cooking spray on a nonstick skillet and heat it over a high flame
3. Place the steak on the skilet and cook for a couple of minutes until well browned; drain in in a colander and set aside
4. Spray another coat of cooking spray on the skillet, add mushrooms and onions and let them saute for five minutes
5. Add garlic or onions, saute for half a minute or until onions turn tender
6. In a bowl, combine the broth, cornstarch, salt and peppe, mustard, thyme and Worcestershire sauce and stir to blend them well
7. Add the broth mixture to the mushroom and cook for a couple of minutes, stirring all the while; add steak and cook for another minute

SERVING
8. Place two slices of bread on each of the srving plates. spoon three quarters of a cup of beef on each plate and serve
