The Original Club Sandwich
|Cooked white chicken slices||2|
|Crisp cooked bacon slices||2|
1. Spread margarine or butter on toasted bread. Use chicken to cover one slice. Smear mayonnaise and place a lettuce leaf on the top. Place a toast slice and top with mayonnaise. Arrange tomato and bacon slices above mayonnaise. Cover with rest of the slice of toast.
2. Use 4 wooden toothpicks to secure. Diagonally cut the sandwich into 4 triangles. Arrange them on plate in such a way that they stand upright.
3. Serve garnished with olives, pickles or tomato slices, halved.
