Open Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients
  Cheddar cheese 3 Pound, grated
  Onion 1 , grated
  Cucumbers 2 , chopped
  Green peppers 2 , chopped
  Mayonnaise 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Hellman'S)
  Nuts 2 Cup (32 tbs), chopped fine
  Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cayenne 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Remove crusts from slices of bread and butter each slice lightly, then spread with above mixture.
Put under broiler in oven until cheese mixture bubbles and turns light brown - watch carefully.
Serve at once.
Approximate yield - 40 sandwiches
