Barbecue Steak Sandwiches

Ingredients
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ketchup 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Canned apple sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Steak cubes 6
  Hamburger rolls 6
Directions

MAKING
1)In a sauce pan, melt the butter. Sauté the onion till it turns light brown.
2)In a bowl, mix salt, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, sugar, oregano, ketchup and apple sauce.
3)Cover the steaks with sauce and allow it to stand for 15 minutes.
4)On a grill, line the steaks. Broil the steaks for 3 minutes on each side.
5)Using a brush, baste the steak with barbecue sauce. Turn over and cook on the other side.
6)Apply soft butter or margarine on hamburger rolls.
7)Place them on the grill and toast.

SERVING
8)Remove the steaks and hamburger rolls from the grill.
9)Place the steaks between the hamburger rolls and pour over the remaining sauce.
10)Serve immediately.
