Turkey Club Sandwiches
|Reduced calorie soft style cream cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Horseradish mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Sliced whole wheat bread/Rye bread||12 , thinly cut (Firm Texture)|
|Turkey luncheon meat||8 Ounce (8 Round Slices)|
|Monterey jack cheese with jalapeno pepper||4 Ounce (4 Slices)|
|Green pepper||1 Medium, seeded and cut into rings|
|Alfalfa sprouts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In a small mixing bowl stir together cream cheese and horseradish mustard.
Spread cream cheese mixture on one side of each bread slice.
Top cream cheese side of four of the bread slices with half of the turkey luncheon meat and all of the cheese.
Top cream cheese side of four more of the bread slices with the remaining turkey luncheon meat, green pepper rings, and alfalfa sprouts.
To assemble sandwiches, stack one turkey-green-pepper-sprout layer atop each turkey-cheese layer.
Top each stack with a remaining bread slice, cream cheese side down.
To serve, cut each sandwich diagonally into quarters and secure with toothpicks.
