Turkey Divan Sandwiches
|Frozen asparagus spears||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Process sharp cheddar cheese||1⁄4 Pound, shredded to make 1 cup|
|Buttered toast slices||4|
|Cooked turkey slices||4 Large|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||4 Ounce (1 Can)|
Cook asparagus as label directs; drain.
In small saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour, then milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Stir in cheese until melted.
Place toast on cookie sheet.
Top with asparagus spears, then with turkey slices and drained mushrooms.
Spoon on cheese sauce.
Broil 3 to 5 minutes or until golden.
