Zesty Luncheon Barbecue
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cooking oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Catsup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Prepared mustard||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Canned luncheon meat||12 Ounce|
|French bread slices||4 , toasted|
In small saucepan cook onion in cooking oil till tender but not brown.
Stir in catsup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, and mustard; heat through.
Cut luncheon meat into 8 slices.
Place meat on grill; brush with sauce.
Grill over medium-hot coals for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, brushing often with sauce.
Serve 2 meat slices on each slice of French bread.
