Skillet Cheese Sandwich
|Whole wheat bread slice||2 , lightly buttered on one side|
|Sliced cheese||2 Ounce|
|Thin onion slice||1|
|Thin tomato slices||1|
|Vegetarian bacon bits||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic powder/Curry powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Black pepper||To Taste|
Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in a small skillet. Arrange cheese, onion and tomato on bread. Sprinkle with vegetarian bacon bits and a pinch of garlic powder or curry powder. Add pepper to taste.
Top with other slice of bread, buttered side up. Place a lid on the skillet and cook over medium-low heat until bottom slice is browned and toasty. Turn with a spatula and brown other side. Cheese should be well melted. Serve at once.
