Lasagna Sandwiches

Ingredients
  Lean ground beef 3⁄4 Pound
  Chopped green pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Tomato sauce 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Onion soup mix 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Regular One)
  Dried oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Dried basil 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Low fat cottage cheese 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), drained
  Grated parmesan cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  6 inch french rolls 8
Directions

In a skillet cook meat and green pepper till meat is brown; drain off fat.
Stir in tomato sauce, soup mix, oregano, and basil.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Combine cottage cheese and Parmesan.
Cut a thin slice off the top of each roll.
Use a fork to hollow out the bottoms of the rolls, leaving 1/4-inch shells. (Save excess bread for another use.)
Spoon half of the meat mixture into the roll bottoms.
Spoon cheese mixture over meat.
Top with remaining meat mixture, then cover with roll tops.
Wrap individually in foil. (Or, place on a baking sheet. Cover with foil.)
Bake in a 400° oven for 20 to 25 minutes or till heated through.
