Artichoke Cheese Sandwiches
|Canned artichoke hearts||14 Ounce, drained and cut into fourths|
|Rye bread slice||6 , toasted|
|Salad dressing/Mayonnaise||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shredded swiss cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Bacon slice/2 tablespoons imitation bacon bits||3 , crisply fried and crumbled|
Arrange artichokes on toast.
Mix mayonnaise, cheese and bacon; spread over artichokes to edges of toast.
Set oven control to broil and/or 550°.
Broil with tops about 5 inches from heat until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 2 minutes.
Cut each sandwich into thirds.
Garnish with cherry tomatoes and pitted ripe olives if desired.
