Open Face Reubens
|Bread slices||3 , toasted (Rye Or Pumpernickel)|
|Thousand island dressing||3 Tablespoon|
|Corned beef||1⁄2 Pound, thinly sliced|
|Canned sauerkraut||4 Ounce, drained, rinsed|
|Swiss cheese slices||3|
|Tomato||1 Small, thinly sliced|
Spread one side of each bread slice with dressing, then set aside.
On a nonmetal platter mound corned beef in 3 piles.
Top with some sauerkraut.
Micro-cook, uncovered, on 50% power (MEDIUM) 5 to 6 minutes or till heated through.
Use a wide spatula to transfer to dressing side of bread slices.
Top with cheese and tomato slices.
Serve with dill pickles, if desired.
