Barbecued Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients
  Ground chuck 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped green pepper 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned tomato sauce 15 Ounce (1 Can)
  Canned tomato paste 6 Ounce (1 Can)
  Cider vinegar 3 Tablespoon
  Packed brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Hamburger buns 12 , split
Directions

Crumble ground chuck into 2-qt. glass casserole.
Add onion and green pepper.
Microwave at high setting 8 minutes, or until meat loses its pink color, stirring every 3 minutes.
Pour off excess fat from meat.
Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Cover and microwave at high setting 10 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes.
Let stand on wooden board or heatproof surface, covered, 10 minutes.
Spoon meat mixture onto bottom half of hamburger buns, using about 1/2 c. per bun.
Cover with top half of buns.
