Fried Open Sandwich With Cheese
|Bread slices||6 Large|
|Grated cheese||225 Gram (2 Cups)|
|Softened butter||75 Gram|
|Eggs||3 , beaten|
|Onions||2 , grated|
|Finely chopped coriander||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), chopped|
|Cream/Top milk||1 Tablespoon|
|Oil||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1. Butter the bread slices.
2. Mix together in a bowl cheese, remaining butter, coriander, onion, garlic, mustard, pepper, cream or top milk and beaten egg. Beat well and make a smooth spread.
3. Spread the mixture thick on each slice of bread.
4. Heat enough oil in a frying pan. Place one sandwich at a time. Fry either coated side down. If you find this difficult then place the sandwich coated side up and spoon over hot oil, using a tablespoon until mixture is set.
5. Remove and place on a kitchen paper to drain off excess oil. Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
