Crab And Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 3 Tablespoon
  Chicken flavored gravy base 1 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  English muffins 3 , split, toasted and buttered
  Cooked crab meat/2 packages, 6 ounce each frozen crab meat, thawed 12 Ounce
Directions

In saucepan melt butter over low heat.
Stir in flour, gravy base, dry mustard, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Add milk all at once.
Cook and stir till thick and bubbly; cook 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat.
Add cheese; stir to melt.
Arrange muffin halves on ovenproof plates or platter; top each with some of the crab meat.
Top with cheese sauce.
Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat just till hot and bubbly.(Do not brown.)
