Pizza Frank Sandwiches
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Soft bread crumbs||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Snipped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Bulk pizza sausage||1⁄2 Pound|
|Ground beef||1⁄2 Pound|
|Pizza sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Chopped onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Sliced pimiento stuffed green olives||2 Tablespoon|
|Frankfurter buns||6 , split and toasted|
|Shredded mozzarella cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Combine egg and milk; stir in crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic salt, and pepper.
Add sausage and beef; mix thoroughly.
Divide into 6 equal portions.
Shape meat around frankfurters, leaving ends open; roll each between waxed paper to make uniform thickness.
In saucepan combine pizza sauce, chopped onion, and green olives.
Simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes; stir occasionally.
Grill frankfurters over medium coals till meat is set, about 5 minutes.
Turn and grill till meat is done, about 10 minutes more.
Brush with pizza sauce mixture during the last 5 minutes.
