|Green bell pepper||1 , thinly sliced|
|Tomato||1 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Bread loaf||1 Pound (1 Round, Unsliced)|
|Italian salad dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Black olives||4 , sliced|
|Fresh mushrooms||6 , sliced|
Combine first 4 ingredients and half the dressing in a bowl; let stand 15 minutes.
Cut bread in half horizontally.
Hollow out bread from each side, leaving a shell about 1 inch thick.
Sprinkle remaining dressing on each bread half.
Line bottom half of bread with 2 lettuce leaves; top with half the meat and cheese slices, vegetables, remaining meat and cheese slices and lettuce.
Add top half of bread.
Insert 8 skewers in a circle through sandwich to secure.
Cut into 8 wedges.
