Giant Pizza Sandwich
|Italian sausage||1⁄2 Pound|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||4 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Sliced pimiento stuffed olives||2 Tablespoon, sliced|
|Dried oregano||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Shredded mozzarella cheese||4 Ounce, divided|
|Frozen cheese pizzas||20 1⁄5 Ounce (Two 10.1 Ounce)|
|Pimiento stuffed olives||3|
Remove casings from sausage, and crumble sausage into a large skillet; add onion, green pepper, sliced mushrooms,2 tablespoons sliced olives, and oregano.
Cook over medium heat until meat is browned; drain well, and stir in 1/2 cup cheese.
Place 1 pizza on a lightly greased baking sheet, cheese side up.
Spoon sausage mixture over pizza; top with second pizza, cheese side down.
Wrap sandwich securely in aluminum foil.
Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
Remove foil, and bake an additional 10 minutes.
Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top of sandwich; bake an additional 5 minutes.
Garnish sandwich with sliced olives.
Cut into wedges to serve
