Capsicum Egg Sandwich and Watermelon Skewers Breakfast Platter Kids Friendly

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It has to be loaded with some good protein, vitamins and carbohydrate. So I made this breakfast platter which is ideal for school going kids.

Ingredients

Bread slices 2
Capsicum rings 1
Egg 1
Salt and pepper To Taste
Chilli flakes To Taste
Butter 1 Teaspoon

Directions

Making

Heat little butter/ oil in a pan.

When the butter is just melted put capsicum ring.

Once the down side of the capsicum little seared flip it over.

Next crack an egg and put in the capsicum ring.

Sprinkle salt, pepper, chili flakes.

Let it cook little bit. Remove the excess egg out of this capsicum. (See the video above)

In the same oil I'm gonna toast two breads.

Once toasted well keep it aside.

Put a cheese slice on the top of the bread.

Also put the egg cooked capsicum on the bread, finally top with another bread.

For watermelon skewers, cut the watermelon using heart shape cookie cutter. You can cut them into regular slices as well.

Thread them in skewers.

Serving

Serve watermelon skewers with capsicum egg sandwich.
