Ingredients

Softened butter 1/2 Tablespoon (as needed)
Bread slice 2 (any type as needed)
American cheese slice 1 (yellow a needed)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat waffle iron.

MAKING

2. Take bread slices and spread softened butter on one side of each.

3. Place one of the slices, buttered side down, on hot waffle iron.

4. Top the bread slice with cheese and cover with the other bread slice with the buttered side up. Slowly close the waffle iron lid. Do not apply pressure. Cook for about 2 minutes or until done, checking after 1 minute.

SERVING

5. Serve hot and enjoy!
