Crunchy Squid Heads

A simple pulutan but also a very yummy and crunchy apetizer.
Ingredients
  Squid heads 100 Gram
  Egg yolk 1
  Corn starch 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ginger powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cooking oil 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Frying)
  Sesame oil 3 Teaspoon
  Gin 2 Teaspoon
  Chopped garlic 10 Gram
  Ground pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
Directions

Mix together the corn starch, the garlic powder, the ginger powder, the salt and stir well then add the egg yolk to obtain a cream. In a medium sized bowl coat the squids with the mixture and deep fry until crunchy and nicely golden brown. In a small mixing bowl, mix the ingredients for the seasoning, the sesame oil, the Gin, the chopped garlic, the ground pepper and a pinch of salt, saute the mixed ingredients until garlic is toasted but not burned, add the fried squids, stir for 1min and serve.

DIPPING:

* A mixture of vinegar, soy sauce, chopped garlic and lemon juice.
