Blackened Salmon

Blackened Salmon is a spicy flavorful salmon from the Cajun cuisine made by searing spiced fish in a skillet till the spices are slightly charred and the underlying fish attains a delicious flavor. Salmon is smeared with ample butter and seasoned with chili powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, wasabi, fresh pepper and onion powder. It is then lowered into butter in a pan, seared on all sides, especially the spiced sides first. The blackened salmon is then can be baked in an oven for a few minutes and served.
