1. Soak wooden plank in water for at least 2 hours.
2. Preheat grill to high.
3. For glaze, in a bowl mix maple syrup, garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, chilli pepper, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
4. On plank, place salmon, and apply glaze on it.
5. Place plank on grill, cover, and cook for about 17 minutes or until done, basting it every 5 minutes.
6. Serve salmon hot with spicy soup.
Always keep water while grilling salmon on plank because it may catch fire anytime while cooking.
