Poached Salmon

Ingredients
  Water 1 Quart
  Dry white wine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cider vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Carrot 1 Large, sliced
  Stalk celery 1 , sliced
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salmon steaks 4
  Mayonnaise sauce 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine first 9 ingredients in a Dutch oven; simmer 15 minutes.
Remove bay leaf.
Add salmon steaks to Dutch oven; cover.
Cook over low heat for 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
