Simple Salmon Pie
|9 inch unbaked pastry shell||1|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned salmon||1 Pound, drained and broken into large pieces (1 Can)|
|Coarsely chopped pimiento||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned peas||8 Ounce, drained|
|Corn flakes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), coarsely crushed|
Melt butter in a medium saucepan.
Blend in flour.
Gradually add milk, stirring constantly; cook until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Add salt, pepper, salmon, pimiento, peas and egg.
Turn into Unbaked Pastry Shell.
Sprinkle with Topping.
Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes before serving
