|Fresh salmon||2 Pound|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Salt||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Bring the water and salt to the boil.
Put in the piece of salmon.
Cook with the lid off at a gentle simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Put the lid on the saucepan and let the fish finish, cooking in the warm liquid.
When the water has come down to about the temperature of a hot bath (test with your finger), lift out the fish.
Now skin and serve with melted butter or with any sauce you fancy.
