Salmon fillet | 3/4 Pound , pinbones removed ((about 1 inch thick)) | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon ((to taste)) | |
Maple syrup | 1 Teaspoon | |
Lime | 1 , zested for 1 teaspoon, juiced for garnish | |
Pepper | To Taste |
GETTING READY:
Preheat oven to 450°F.
MAKING:
Sprinkle half of salt on bottom of pan and place salmon over it with skin side down.
Drizzle maple syrup and grated lime zest over it. Sprinkle remaining salt over it.
Pop into oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Once done, squeeze lemon juice over salmon.
