Crab Salad is an accompaniment dish made using crab. It is mostly cooked in Asian Cuisine, specially the Malaysian, Indian and Japanese cuisines.

Preparation of Crab Salad

The ingredients and method of preparation of crab salad varies across different cuisines. One authentic method involves boiling crabmeat, sautéing green peppers and onions in butter, sautéing cooked crabmeat along with the seasonings, removing from fire and mixing in mayonnaise when slightly cool. Chopped cucumber or boiled baby corn improve the taste of the basic salad when added to it.
