Couscous Salad

Couscous Salad is salad made from couscous (a dish made from semolina wheat globules) and desired vegetables, cheese and seasonings. Couscous salad may be served with meat dishes, such as grilled chicken and beef kebabs. Couscous salad goes well with vegetarian dishes such as grilled vegetables too. The Couscous Salad is prepared in different cuisines of the world with region-specific ingredients and flavorings.

Preparing Couscous Salad
Couscous, being neutral in flavor, is a versatile salad base. It can take in different types of flavorings very easily. Couscous is first cooked in meat broth (preferably chicken or beef ) or vegetable stock with salt and pepper seasonings. Then vegetables such as tomato and green onions are added. Nuts can be included if desired. The salad is seasoned with herbs and spices.
