Basic Fruit Salad Aspic

Ingredients
  Unflavored gelatin 1 Tablespoon
  Cold water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Boiling water/Fruit juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 6 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Prepared drained fruit 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

Soften gelatin in cold water and dissolve in hot water or fruit juice.
Add sugar, salt and lemon juice.
Cool until gelatin begins to thicken and add prepared, drained fruit.
Incidentally, the only fresh fruit that does not fare well in the refrigerator is fresh pineapple.
Always use canned pineapple or fresh pineapple that has been cooked.
