Lettuce and Cheese Salad
|Hard cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk/Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Olives||6 , chopped|
|Lettuce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), shredded|
|Pimiento strips||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Boiled dressing/Mayonnaise dressing||1 Tablespoon|
1.Put the cheese through a food-grinder and moisten slightly with milk or cream.
2.Add pepper and salt to taste.
3.Add chopped olives, shredded lettuce and pimiento strips.
4.Press this mixture into the form of a brick and, when cool and firm, cut in slices.
5.Serve with salads
