Apricot Dessert Salad

The apricot dessert salad is a molded dessert salad made with lemon flavored gelatin and apricots. Combined with vanilla ice cream, the apricot dessert salad is best served as a dessert, chilled with garnishes of choice like sliced apicots.
Ingredients
  Lemon gelatin 6 Ounce (Two 3 Ounce Packages)
  Boiling water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Canned apricots 1 Pound
  Sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla ice cream 1 Pint, softened
Directions

Dissolve gelatin in hot water, then cool.
Drain apricots.
Puree apricots in a blender and add to gelatin.
Whip sour cream and vanilla ice cream together and fold into apricots.
Pour into a mold and chill until firm.
