Fresh Caesar Salad
|Olive oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Romaine lettuce heads||2 , dried and torn into bite-sized pieces|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Canned anchovy fillets||2 Ounce, chopped|
|Ground pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Packaged garlic croutons||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Combine oil and garlic and let stand overnight.
In a large salad bowl, toss greens with oil mixture.
Add egg to greens and toss until well coated.
In a small bowl, stir lemon juice, Worcestershire, anchovies, salt and pepper.
Add to greens and toss again.
Sprinkle on cheese and croutons and toss lightly again.
