Golden Tuna Salad
|Canned pineapple chunks||19 Ounce (1 can)|
|Canned chunk light tuna||13 Ounce (2 cans, 6 1/2 ounce size, bye the sea)|
|Sliced celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sliced water chestnuts/1/4 cup sliced toasted almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Thinly sliced green onions||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Powdered ginger||1 Pinch|
Drain pineapple chunks (save juice for a dessert or chilled drink).
In a bowl combine pineapple, tuna, with its 2 or 3 drops of broth, celery, almonds, and onions.
Blend mayonnaise with soya sauce, salt and ginger.
Mix gently through the salad.
