Herbed Bean Salad
|Frozen cut green beans/9 ounce package frozen italian green beans||9 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Thinly sliced celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onion||1 , sliced and separated into rings|
|Low calorie french salad dressing||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Finely chopped canned pimiento||1 Tablespoon|
|Dried oregano leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|
Cook green beans according to package directions; drain.
In shallow dish combine green beans, thinly sliced celery, and onions rings.
Blend together French-style salad dressing, chopped pimiento, oregano, and salt; toss with vegetable mixture.
Cover; chill several hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.
To serve, spoon vegetable mixture and dressing into lettuce cups.
