Spicy Chilled Fruit Salad
|Canned fruits||32 Ounce, drained (For Salad, Reserve Syrup, 3 1/2 Cups, 2 Cans, 16 Ounce Each)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Liquid||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Fruit Syrup Plus Water)|
|Vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In medium saucepan, combine sugar, liquid, vinegar, cloves and cinnamon; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Add fruits; bring to boil.
Giver and cool.
Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, at least 2 hours.
Remove cloves and cinnamon sticks.
Drain; arrange on lettuce leaves.
