Winter Salad Pickle
|Carrots||2 Quart, cut in slivers|
|Yellow string beans||2 Quart, cut in 1 inch cubes|
|Onions||12 Medium, sliced|
|Red peppers||3 , cut in small pieces|
|Sweet peppers||3 , cut in small pieces|
|Granulated sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Salt||2 Tablespoon (Boiled in salt water)|
|Cider vinegar/Malt vinegar||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
Cook carrots and beans in salted water until tender.
Add all the vegetables, sugar, salt and spices to the vinegar.
Boil about 5 minutes.
Pack in hot jars and seal
