Dissolve a large package of gelatin in 1 cup hot pear liquid; cool.
Beat a small amount of the gelatin with 8 ounces cream cheese.
Add drained pears from 1 large and 1 small can and beat until smooth.
Mix in remaining gelatin.
Fold in 3 cups whipped cream, pour into 9x13 inch pan; chill until firm.
Use orange gelatin for fall, and red or green for Christmas.
Decorate with mandarin oranges or maraschino cherries.
