Twenty Four Hour Cabbage Salad

Ingredients
  Unflavored gelatin 1
  Cold water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Celery seed 1 Teaspoon
  Cabbage 1 Medium, shredded
  Onion 1 Medium, grated
  Green pepper To Taste, finely cut
  Carrots 2 Large, grated
  Chopped celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cauliflower pieces 1 , broken into pieces
Directions

Soften gelatin in cold water.
Heat vinegar, sugar, water, salt and celery seed; stir in gelatin.
Cool completely.
Pour over veget ables.
Place in covered container; refrigerate several hours or overnight.
NOTE: This salad keeps well for several days.
