Dig Deep Salad

Ingredients
  Head of lettuce 1 , shredded
  Red onions 2 Medium, sliced
  Green peppers 2 , sliced
  Water chestnuts 1 Can (10 oz), sliced
  Frozen green peas 10 Ounce, uncooked (1 Package Of 10 Ounces)
  Celery ribs 4 , chopped
  Mayonnaise 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Romano cheese 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Hard cooked eggs 3 , sliced (For Garnish)
  Bacon strip 4 , crumbled (For Garnish)
  Tomatoes 2 , sliced (For Garnish)
Directions

Layer lettuce, onions, green peppers, water chestnuts, green peas and celery in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Spread mayonnaise over top layer.
Sprinkle with Romano cheese and sugar.
Do not stir.
Cover and refrigerate 24 hours.
Remove from refrigerator 45 minutes before serving.
Garnish with sliced eggs, bacon and tomatoes.
