Fruit Salad With Marsala
Fruit salad with marsala is a fresh and flavorful dessert prepared with marsala dessert wine. Tossed with assorted fruit sof choice, the fruit salad is served chilled and is dressed with a little apricot jam along with marsala wine.
|Apricot jam||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (50 Ml)|
|Marsala/Orange juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (50 Ml)|
|Pears||2 , cored and cut into wedges|
|Apples||2 , cored and cut into wedges|
|Oranges||2 , peeled and segmented|
|Grapefruit||2 , peeled and segmented|
|Melon||1 Small, seeded and cut in small wedges or balls|
|Seedless grapes||1 Cup (16 tbs) (250 Ml)|
In large bowl, whisk jam with Marsala until smooth.
Add pears, apples, oranges, grapefruit, melon and grapes, along with any juices collected from cutting fruit.
Combine gently but well.
