Meat Supper Salad
Meat Supper Salad is rich with the flavors of meat, cottage cheese and salad seasonings. This is a chill and serve salad and can be prepared in a jiffy. Check out the recipe of Meat Supper Salad.
|Lemon gelatin||1 Tablespoon|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Salad dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cottage cheese||1⁄2 Pound, drained|
|Hard cooked eggs||3 , chopped|
|Finely chopped green pepper||2 Teaspoon|
|Thinly sliced celery||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Cooked veal||1 Pound, chilled and ground|
Dissolve gelatin in water; add salt and onion.
Chill until thickened.
Add salad dressing, cream and cottage cheese.
Combine eggs, green pepper, celery and veal add to gelatin.
Chill until firm.
