Walnut Fruit Salad Plate
|Oranges||3 , cut in sections|
|Grapefruits||2 , cut in sections|
|Lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped california walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Head of lettuce||1 Medium|
|Grapes cluster||6 Small|
|Orange sherbet||1 Pint|
|Salad dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Chill orange and grapefruit sections.
Peel avocado; cut in wedges and sprinkle generously with salt and lemon juice; chill.
At serving time, peel bananas, dip in lemon juice and cut in half,lengthwise.
Coat cut surface of banana with mayonnaise and sprinkle with walnuts.
For each serving, arrange banana half on shredded lettuce
Alternate citrus fruits with avocado.
Add a cluster of grapes and a scoop of sherbet in small lettuce cup.
Serve with your favorite fruit salad dressing, as a luncheon salad, with hot bread.
