|Unflavored gelatin||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Meat broth/Poultry broth / consomme||1 Cup (16 tbs), heated|
|Chopped onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Vinegar/Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped cooked meat/Poultry||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cooked peas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||2 Tablespoon|
|Sliced cucumber pickle||2 Tablespoon|
Soften gelatin in cold water; dissolve in hot broth.
Add onion, salt, vinegar or lemon juice and other seasonings to taste.
Chill until thickened.
Stir in meat, peas, celery and pickle.
Pour into individual molds; chill until firm.
Serve on lettuce.
