Pear Salad

Ingredients
  Canned pears 29 Ounce
  Lime gelatin 3 Ounce
  Cream cheese 8 Ounce
  Whipping cream 1⁄2 Pint
  Blanched almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Whole almonds 2 Tablespoon (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

Drain pears, reserving 1 cup juice.
Puree pears; set aside.
Bring pear juice to a boil;add gelatin, stirring until dissolved.
Add pears and cream cheese; beat until smooth.
Add more pear juice if too thick.
Cool com pletely; fold in cream.
Chill; fold in chopped almonds.
Top with whole almonds; place in shallow mold.
Chill until firm.
