Cucumber-Almond Salad

Ingredients
  Cucumbers 2 Large
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Any Commercial Brand)
  Chopped blanched almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Minced green onions 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Ground pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Peel cucumbers, if desired, and thinly slice.
Sprinkle with salt, and let stand 15 minutes.
Drain cucumbers, if necessary.
Combine remaining ingredients, add to cucumbers, tossing gently.
Chill at least 1 hour.
